The new Aquarium and Conservation Center will be located on the shores of the Banana River, near Cape Canaveral, and will focus on the fascinating flora and fauna of local waterways, including the Indian River Lagoon.
Brevard Zoo announced today that it received a transformative $5 million gift from the DSF Charitable Foundation that will play a pivotal role in funding the Sea Turtle Care Complex at the future Aquarium and Conservation Center at Port Canaveral, Florida.
As we continue fundraising for our future Aquarium, our staff is hard at work creating and finalizing plans for the aquarium and surrounding property. Our Conservation team recently made a trip to the site to get some headway on their own plans.
