East Coast Zoological Foundation Welcomes New Vice President of Marketing

Welcome, Alysia!

The East Coast Zoological Foundation (EZCF) is pleased to welcome Alysia Ross to a new role for our organization, Vice President of Marketing. In this senior leadership role, Alysia will serve as the architect for our brand vision, shaping and elevating the master brand strategy that better unites and furthers ECZF and its two campuses: Brevard Zoo and the future Bowen Aquarium.

The role will focus on big-picture leadership, ensuring marketing efforts align with long-term organizational goals and brand positioning while expanding our visibility at a national level. Alysia will play a key role in developing the communications around the next phase of the Our Legacy Campaign, working alongside the Philanthropy team as a strategic partner and spearheading creative projects that amplify the capital campaign and other fundraising efforts.

Alysia brings more than 30 years of marketing and leadership experience to our Foundation and boasts a diverse portfolio of experience. Alysia’s career is rooted in the zoo field, having started at the Wildlife Conservation Society/Bronx Zoo in New York, NY and most recently leading Marketing at Busch Gardens and Adventure Island in Tampa, FL. She also brings varied knowledge from the corporate world, having served in numerous marketing roles at Coca-Cola Beverages Florida, PepsiCo and Danone, as well as varying account management and creative roles at several national marketing agencies.

“I am so proud to be joining the East Coast Zoological Foundation at such a pivotal time in its history. From building our portfolio of brands and experiences to driving awareness of our mission, I am so excited to have a hand in the shaping of our future,” said Alysia.

Alysia, along with her team, will work to establish an innovative, integrated marketing vision that drives growth, deepens engagement and elevates our brands. We’re excited to watch the progress unfold.
